Devotees From Chennai: The nearest place is SirkAzhi to reach Thiru Nangur. SirkAzhi has boarding and lodging facilities at reasonable rates. SirkAzhi is the base for Thirunangur, Chidambaram, SirkAzhi - ThAdaLan sannithi divyadesams.
From Sirkazhi, many buses are plying towards Poompuhar. Get down at Mangai Madam bus stop (the place where Thirumangai Azhwar performed thadheeyarathanai) where you can get plenty of autos to go Thirunangur (3 km)
